A LITTLE ABOUT
Throughout my life I've been drawn to the emotionally provoking beauty of the ocean and all the mysteries within. From an early age, I was able to experience the joys of deep sea fishing and close-up encounters with various marine life. This was more than enough to ignite my passion for marine animals, which easily became my study path in school. My studies and experiences have shaped my passions for marine life, specifically revealing an unexpected love for parasites! This odd fascination has moved me across the country from Georgia to Colorado, and finally Washington where I work in a lab that focuses on parasite ecology, primarily of marine animals. Luckily, road trips have become one of my favorite things as I've traveled across the country multiple times.
As a child, my family had access to a deep sea fishing boat that allowed me to experience the rock of the waves and the mysteries of the ocean- we were never quite sure what we would catch!
From oceans to creeks, I was always curious about what was going on below the surface.
